Today marks the 70th anniversary of a landmark moment in American history: the Brown vs. Board of Education Supreme Court decision. This case challenged segregation in public schools, stating that "separate but equal" was inherently unequal. The unanimous ruling declared segregation unconstitutional, starting a major shift toward desegregating schools. 👟 | Thank you to the Noah Farrelly Memorial Fund for its generous donation of 500 pairs of shoes for students throughout our district! Noah was a Binghamton alum who tragically died after being hit by a vehicle while on a run during his freshman year of college at Stony Brook. The memorial fund named for him aims to give back to youth in Binghamton and to build interest in Noah's favorite sport: running. #BPatriotProud

May 1-7 is National Physical Education and Sport Week. We want to give a big shoutout to all the physical education and health teachers in our district who work to help students get active! #BPatriotProud

💛 | This weekend, our students, staff, and families spent time cleaning up our community to honor Harper Stantz’s memory. This year, the event expanded to the neighborhoods around all ten of our school buildings with dozens of bags of trash collected! #BPatriotProud
